DENNIS PIPER AND MICHAEL CHESLKA
DENNIS PIPER AND MICHAEL CHESLKA
Dennis Piper has been a working comic for over 35 years. Starting with doing jokes between the breaks of a band in Vail, Piper has now done over 5000 shows. His professional career began in the 1980’s as an emcee at Coconuts in St. Petersburg, at times, doing a dozen shows a week. In 1990, he moved to Oxford, Ohio. For the past decades he worked nightclubs, campuses, corporate outings, television and radio, opened for national touring acts, and has even once emceed a wrestling bear show. A solid professional with a reputation to match, Piper also produced and hosted his own cable TV show, “What’s the Buzz?” and the Ozzie Comedy Open, a two day comedy show and golfing event funding a local college scholarship. A favorite of audiences and his fellow comics alike, if it's true that comedy is the best medicine, then Dennis Piper owns the pharmacy.
